Desert Shelter

 

Desert Shelter was a work that told the stories of migrants who cross the Sonoran Desert, and the way that their bodies are subjected to deep atrophy and decay as they make their way onto a different country. The work is scored for String Sextet and is for choreography, which was provided and performed by NobleMotion Dance. The musical performance was conducted by Sheila del Bosque and musicians with the Ponce Project Foundation.
