Voces Fantasmas - A Reflection on Immigrant Detention Through Art

Voces Fantasmas is a multi-disciplinary artistic program & performance that aims to honor immigrants who are in federal detention. The program is based on my experiences, a 60 day imprisonment within the Houston Immigrant Detention Center. The program consists of live music, film, and choreography. The mission is to create an artwork that will inspire audiences to think deeply about the many different people who pass through immigrant imprisonment.
